The 2019 municipal election has been canceled by a 4-1 vote of the previous Council.

A Petition to put the question on the ballot in 2018 is currently being circulated to let voters decide if the scheduled 2019 city election should be held.  Putting it on the ballot will allow each voter to decide yes or no to extending the Mayor’s term to 3 years and all  Council Members’ terms to 5 years.
